AN ELOPEMENT DAY WITH NO LIMITS
Imagine waking up slow, the sky just starting to blush, knowing that today you won’t be rushing through timelines or making small talk with distant relatives — you’ll be stepping into the ocean air, hand in hand, to say your vows where the land meets the sea. An adventure elopement on Prince Edward Island is for couples who want their wedding day to feel like an experience, not a performance. Think red cliffs glowing at golden hour, wind playing with your hair, tide pools at your feet, and laughter echoing across an empty beach. Whether you’re travelling from across Canada or flying in from the U.S., your PEI elopement becomes more than a ceremony; it becomes a story you’ll tell for the rest of your lives. The photos we create together will feel like pages from that story — full of motion, texture, salt air, and the quiet in-between moments that say, “This is us.”

"We first met Erynn during a couples session. We were so happy with the photos that when we got engaged and found out Erynn was available for our wedding date, it was a no brainer! Erynn was so helpful from beginning to end. With so much wedding experience, her wedding guidebook offered so much advice that really made a difference when trying to plan a smooth wedding day. She thought of things I never would have! On top of this, her communication could not have been better. She provided regular check ins the whole year leading up the wedding, as well as more in depth check ins close to the date to go over details. This provided so much reassurance and security.
We could not have been anymore in love with our wedding photos!! We had poor weather on our day, and one of my biggest fears was how the pictures would turn out. Erynn went above and beyond to ensure we had the pictures of our dreams. We received so many compliments and we will cherish them forever!"

WHERE TO ELOPE ON PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Dreaming of a romantic, intimate elopement surrounded by natural beauty? Prince Edward Island offers some of the most breathtaking locations in Canada for couples looking to say "I do" in a meaningful and picturesque setting. From red sandstone cliffs and white sand beaches to charming lighthouses and rolling green hills, PEI is a hidden gem for destination elopements. In this post, we’re sharing six of the best different kinds of elopement locations on Prince Edward Island to help you find the perfect backdrop for your love story.

Elope Among The Wild Lupins
Eloping among the wild lupins on Prince Edward Island is like stepping into a storybook. Every June, vibrant pink, purple, and blue blooms blanket the countryside, creating a dreamy, flower-filled backdrop for couples seeking a whimsical and romantic elopement setting. The soft summer light and gentle breeze through the tall blossoms create a sense of calm and enchantment—perfect for an intimate ceremony. Whether you're standing in an open field or tucked along a quiet country road, saying your vows surrounded by lupins feels deeply personal and wildly beautiful. As a photographer, even I get butterflies in my stomach watching these enchanted love stories come to life.

Elope On A White Sand Beach Along The North Shore
If you're dreaming of a peaceful, romantic elopement, the white sand beaches along Prince Edward Island’s North Shore offer an unforgettable setting. With soft dunes, gentle ocean waves, and endless skies, this stretch of coastline is perfect for couples craving a laid-back, intimate ceremony surrounded by natural beauty. Whether you're exchanging vows with just the two of you or sharing the moment with a few loved ones, eloping on the North Shore feels effortlessly magical—like your own private piece of paradise. For an extra touch of wonder, plan your elopement at sunset and witness one of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Cotton candy skies, the warm orange sun reflecting off the water, and your feet in the shallow ocean tide—it’s the kind of moment elopement fairytales are made of.

Have An Adventure Elopement Along The Capes
Eloping among the dramatic red capes of Prince Edward Island is perfect for couples craving a bold, windswept backdrop for their love story. Towering sandstone cliffs meet the sea in a stunning display of color and texture, offering a sense of wild beauty and raw emotion that makes your vows feel even more powerful. The capes are especially breathtaking at golden hour, when the warm light sets the red rock aglow and the ocean sparkles below. There’s something deeply grounding about standing at the edge of the land, hand in hand, promising forever. It’s untamed, cinematic, and completely unforgettable.

Explore The Red Sandbars Along The South Shore
For couples craving something truly off the beaten path, eloping on the sandbars along Prince Edward Island’s South Shore offers an unforgettable blend of beauty, adventure, and serenity. As the tide pulls back, hidden stretches of sand emerge from the ocean—wide, glistening, and seemingly made just for you. It feels like walking on water, with the sea surrounding you on both sides and the sky stretching endlessly above. The ever-changing tides and dramatic light create a setting that feels raw, wild, and deeply romantic. For an extra touch of magic, consider exchanging your vows at sunrise, when the first light spills across the horizon and the world feels still, golden, and entirely yours. If you're drawn to the idea of an elopement that’s spontaneous, peaceful, and a little bit otherworldly, the South Shore’s sandbars are calling.

Climb Through The Red Cliffs For Your Elopement
As a PEI elopement photographer, I’ve explored some of the island’s most hidden and breathtaking spots—and there’s nothing quite like eloping where the red cliffs meet the white sand. These rugged, dramatic coastlines offer a one-of-a-kind backdrop for couples who want more than a traditional ceremony. Reaching them often means a bit of climbing and adventure, but that’s exactly what makes the experience unforgettable. Picture this: wind in your hair, waves crashing below, and the two of you standing hand-in-hand on a sandstone ledge as the ocean stretches out around you. For couples dreaming of a Prince Edward Island elopement that’s wild, cinematic, and truly personal—this is the magic you’ve been looking for.

Elope Inside A Lighthouse
Eloping inside a lighthouse on Prince Edward Island is an experience unlike any other—a rare and deeply meaningful way to begin your love story. While many couples choose beaches or gardens, saying your vows inside one of PEI’s iconic lighthouses offers something truly unforgettable. It's intimate, historic, and incredibly romantic, with sweeping views of the coastline and the gentle sound of waves crashing below. Few places feel as symbolic as a lighthouse—standing tall, weathering every storm, and always guiding the way forward. It’s a setting that not only feels cinematic, but deeply personal—perfect for couples who want a ceremony as unique and enduring as their love.

An Elopement Surrounded By Apple Blossom Beauty
Eloping among the apple blossoms in June is one of the most romantic and fleeting experiences Prince Edward Island has to offer. For just a short window each spring, the orchards burst into bloom—soft pink and white petals covering the trees like a fairytale. The air is sweet, the light is gentle, and everything feels fresh and full of promise. It’s the perfect setting for couples who want a quiet, heartfelt ceremony surrounded by natural beauty. As a PEI elopement photographer, I can honestly say there’s something magical about capturing love beneath the blossoms—like freezing a moment that only exists for a few perfect days.
