Our Banff Wedding

November 22nd, 2022 was one of the best days of our life. Our wedding day started early in the morning, with alarms going off at 5 am. Sam got up and went to a hotel down the street to get himself and Alice ready for the big
day!
I stayed at the Rimrock Hotel and began doing my own hair and makeup with my bridesmaids.
Our first look took place just a few hours later at Vermilion Lakes. This spot in particular is where I thought Sam was going to propose just one year earlier. In October 2021, we were in Banff watching the sunrise in that same spot, one of my favorite places on Earth!
We decided to get married on November 22nd, 2022.
It was a very easy decision since both of our favorite numbers are two!
Banff is such a special place to us, I am so so glad we went back there for our wedding.
Our ceremony was held at 10 am at The Rimrock on their Infinity Terrace. Located on the top floor overlooking the absolutely beautiful valley. It was perfect for us!

Our wedding day was surrounded by 25 of our closest family and friends. We felt so fortunate to have so many people fly out to witness this day. Standing with us were our three best friends and Sam's younger brother. It was important to us to have a person we love to officiate the ceremony instead of a stranger, we're so happy our close friend was able to do this for us!
We wrote our own vows during our short ceremony. Despite it being a little chilly I am so happy we did this outdoors to enjoy these amazing views!
It was the best day, I am so happy with how our wedding day in Banff went!
